Northern communities living in Imo State has expressed their appreciation to Governor Hope Uzodimma on the peaceful celebration of Eid El- Fitr.
In a statement issued in Owerri on Thursday by one of the Northern leaders and former Special Adviser to the Governor of Imo State, Hon. Suleiman Ibrahim Suleiman, he thanked the Governor for a long lasting harmony, protection of lives and properties in the state
The body while commending the Governor for his kind hospitality to the Northern Communities in the state, assured their readiness and willingness to continue to support his administration geared towards total transformation of the state.
The people used the period of Sallah celebration to pray to Allah to grant the Governor his heart desire anchored in taking the state to the next level for the good of both indigens and non indigens in the state.
He assured that the Northern Community will continue to ensure peaceful coesistence among both with the host communities and non indigene
The former SA advised all the Northerners to maintain absolute peace and orderliness and avoid engaging in any act capable of causing trouble especially during the Sallah period and after.
