The Nigeria Players Union, National Association of Nigeria Professional Footballers, NANPF, have congratulated the Super Falcons for qualifying for the 2024 Olympics Games.
According to the Chairman of the Players Union Board, Captain Abe Sunday of Sunshine Stars, on behalf of the Union said the team displayed tenacity and determination in the two-legged matches with South Africa.
They hailed the coaching staff, players and Nigerians for the great feat saying that it showcases the true nature of the Nigerian never die spirit.
While calling on the NFF and the Sports Minister to make adequate preparations ahead of the event, they urged them not to relent in making the country proud.
The union enjoined members of the public to rally behind the team saying that all hands must be on deck to ensure that they represent Nigeria with pride at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
