Nwabunwannw Victor Okolie’s second half strike condemned Hopeland Academy to a 1-0 defeat in their first match of the inaugural edition of the 2024 Anambra Statw NLO pre season Tournament Thursday inside the Rojenny Stadium, Oba, near Onitsha.

‘Nwa-Aba’ was delighted his side shut down their more experienced opponent, and hopes they keep their heads as the pre season tournament progresses.
“I’m happy that we won. Ours is still a young team, being assembled just few months ago.
“I commend them for a good performance today and I hope to improve the squad as we get set for the NLO playoff”, Achebe said.
St Nwadinso Football Academy, Oba, will compete in the NLO playoffs after acquiring the Likeminds Feeders, FCT, slot in the NLO.
