Club De Foot Montreal Star, Ibrahim Sunusi has blessed his youth club FC Basira with the whooping sum of N500,000 for defeating his former club Nasarawa United at the just concluded FA cup in Nasarawa State.
Si14 as Sunusi is popularly know made the pledge shortly before the kickoff,
“Good afternoon everyone I want to use this opportunity to congratulate you guys in advance I have the confident and the belief you guys will do it again, I promise if you guys win the match I will give you guys a 500,000 naira cash. I wish you best of luck enjoying the game guys, he revealed”.
FC Basira however needed the heroics of Elias Victor to defeat Nasarawa United 5-4 on penalties after the game ended one all in regulation time.
