Guangxi Pingguo Football Club China has set a high standard for the 2024 season, which is to see the Southern China team play in the China Super League next season.
The Chinese League One team from Guangxi kicked off the league with a 2-0 win against Jiangxi Lushan FC tonight. The atmosphere at their home stadium readily brought the feeling of the Super League to the team.
The football club from South China is planning to stage a ‘4 Nations Cup’ in Southern China in the summer of 2024. Some NPFL clubs are supposed to be a part of the 4 Nations preseason friendlies. Good news is that the Chinese government is also set to be a part of this project.
NPFL is gradually regaining its lost image within the short time Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye took over as Chairman. Investors now see the Nigerian league as a future where they could dump some huge investments and in a short time be paid back heavily with a Return On Investment.
China is definitely a business hub for Nigeria. Both countries share a similar kind of culture and we believe that this event in summer will further prove the relationship between both countries.
The time is drawing closer for both the NFF and CFA to take the right steps towards cooperative agreements that would make football projects easier to fly smoothly between both countries. The CSL and the NPFL have several ways they could cooperate to develop projects for their people.
We are gradually coming to a point where technical and professional deals and others could thrive. The newly elected CFA Board has made some declarations in their pledge that have seen immediate actions carried out.
More to come…
