Nigeria’s Super Eagles have trumped the African Cup of Nations host, Ivory Coast’s Elephants in a 1-0 win.
The emotional game which has left Nigerian fans feeling euphoric after the recent 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea. Hosts Ivory Coast took on Nigeria in the second group stage match of Group A in the Africa Cup of Nations.
The only goal of the match was scored in a penalty shoot by William Troost-Ekong. It’s all joy for Nigeria and manager Jose Peseiro, but despair for Ivory Coast.
