As part of activities marking the Ph.D convocation ceremony of Rev. Fr. Nwauzor Pius Chibuike from Imo State University, Owerri, an exhibition tennis game will be played in his honour.
Nigerian number one tennis player, Uchenna Oparaoji will battle Samuel Akagha in a novelty tennis tournament billed to hold, on Saturday, at the Standard Tennis Club, Owerri.
Speaking with Wakawaka Sports Extra, Oparaoji relished the epoch game saying that he has been anticipating the fixture with his opponent.
“Samuel is good and we have been together for over ten years. He is a strong guy who is good. Playing against him will be a match to watch. I’m very happy to play the match. It has been a while the man of God told me about the match. I’m very happy for his success in the academics and the work of God.”
