HONOURED WITH A MERITORIOUS AWARD AS THE BEST HOUSE MEMBER EVER PRODUCED IN THE IMO HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY AND CONFERRED WITH THE “OME NKE AHURU NA ANYA” TITLE
Like the popular aphorism that a golden fish has no hiding place and an excellent performance is an inspiration to many, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) House of Assembly candidate for Owerri Municipal State Constituency in Imo State, Lugard Osuji, KSC has had another feather added to his cap, as the physically challenged persons in Imo State, under the auspices of the Imo State Disabled Leadership Forum, found him meritoriously worthy to be their Life Grand Patron and presented him with a certificate of honour to that effect.
The event which took place early hours of today in Owerri, the Imo State Capital, also saw the State Chapter of the Association honour the APGA House of Assembly candidate and former House Member that represented Owerri Municipal State Constituency in the Imo House of Assembly, with an award as the Best Legislator, the Imo Parliament has ever produced, since democratic inception in Nigeria in 1999.
Presenting the Certificate of Honour, which was jointly signed by the Chairman and the Secretary of the Association, Barrister Chukwudi Amadi and Mr Michael Ogbu respectively to, and conferred the OME NKE AHURU NA ANYA title on the frontline Owerri Municipal House of Assembly Candidate, the group’s President affirmed that nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm and that the erstwhile Majority Leader of the Imo House of Assembly, is deserving of the Distinguished honour and meritorious award in recognition of his personal contributions and love towards the upliftment of the physically challeneged persons and the less privileged.
He reiterated that the certificate of honour qualifies the APGA House of Assembly candidate to represent the association not just anywhere in Imo State but in Nigeria and the World as well.
It is pertinent to state that we are what we repeatedly do, and excellence is not just an act, but a habit. Hence, Lugard Osuji’s humane nature and commitment to always lookout for the physically challenged and the less privileged ones, and ensuring improved welfare for them, are evidence of his amiable and kind personal dispositions and quality leadership prowess.
In appreciation, the APGA candidate thanked the leadership and members of the Imo State Disabled Leadership Forum for adopting him as their Life Grand Patron and finding him worthy for the Award. He assured them that their welfare will be one of his priorities and a continuous project once he is elected to represent Owerri Municipal State Constituency in the Imo House of Assembly in the March 11th State Assembly election.
He charged them to go for their Permanent Voters Cards to enable them participate actively and vote for him in the forthcoming election because he is the best in terms of performance and legacy, and assured them that APGA parades the best candidates.
