POCACOV Engages Stakeholders ,Ambassadors ,Commend them As Strenght Of the Campaign For A Functional Community .
The National Coordinator ,Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices(POCACOV) CSP Ebere Amaraizu ,has commended POCACOV Stakeholders and Ambassadors on their tireless efforts and commitment towards the realization of POCACOV Aims and Objectives and for a Safe ,Peaceful and Secured Communities.He made the Commendation on 25th November,2022 in Yenegoa Bayelsa State during the round off of the Pilot Training on PREVENT for Nigeria Police Force Officers organized by the CLEEN FOUNDATIONS and Partners on Serious and Organized Crime(SOC) and organized Criminal Groups(OCGs).According to Amaraizu ,Stakeholders are lifewire and Strenght of any interventions because it is all about partnership and leading to whole of society approach leading to joint problem identification for joint problem solving for a safe,paeceful and secured communities.He maintained that POCACOV stakeholders and Ambassadors have done well araes of community peace building and Sensitizations Against Vices ,School sensitizations and Awareness Creation on membership into unlwful Societies (CULTISM)Substance and Drug Abuse ,Violent Behaviours and Other Vices and urged them to sustain the tempo as the war is not yet won.He highlighted that POCACOV as NPF Community Policing Initiative and Public Relations Tool,we keep working with different Stakeholders and Multi Agencies (WHOLE SOCIETY APPROACH) galvanizing their support amd Partnership as well as enhancing participation towards Problem Solving and for a Safe,Peaceful and Secured Communities.We shall continue to widen and strenghten the scope of our engagements to ensure the cutting of supply chains and conveyor belts of young minds involvement and recruitment into Unlawful Societies to perpetrate Serious and Organized Crime(SOC) and through our various intervention programs as supported by Stakeholders and Multi Agencies.
Stakeholders in their reactions,appreciated Nigeria Police Force on POCACOV INITIATIVE which is a Community Driven Program and maintained that the commitment and efforts exhibited so far as policing stakeholders is a way of expressing that Policing is everybodys business .They Urged all to identify with the POCACOV in its various activities such as POCACOV in my Community,POCACOV in my School and POCACOV in my Family which adresses isuues on parenting and moral upbringing of children in terms of Values ,Standard and Discipline.
Earlier, the National Coordinator POCACOV ,CSP Ebere Amaraizu had engaged POCACOV Stakeholders and Ambassadors in Rivers State and commended them on their efforts and commitment towards a functional community using the instrumentality of POCACOV.He charged them to sustain the tempo and continue to work with different stakeholders and multi agencies(WHOLE OF SOCIETY) in order to achieve fully the Aims and objectives of POCACOV towards saving our young moinds/Youths from the claws of Cultism(UNLAWFUL SOCIETIES),Substance and Drug Abuse,Violent behaviours and Other Vices and For a functional Community.
Highlights was the formal presentations of Stakeholders /Ambassadors certificates of Recognition and Appreciations and notable amongst them are ACP Grace Longe of the National Institute of policing Studies Abuja,Nnamdi Odo the Program officer(Monitoring and Evaluation)CLEEN Foundation.Chief GoodMan Arugone the Chairman Bayelsa State POCACOV Volunteer Club ,MR Slaboh Philip,SP BUswat Asinim and Musa Mohammed ,Clara Amadi of the CLEEN Foundations amongst others while in Rivers State ,the Chairman POCACOV Volunteer Club ,Amb Onwuka Eke and his group also received their Certificates of Appreciations and Recognitions.
