Nigeria’s Ambassadors to the WAFU B U-20 Championship in Niamey, Niger Republic will later today handle the Cote de Ivoire vs Togo game.
While Dr Joseph Ogabor will be the referee, Celestine Efosa Egudia and Mimisen Iyorhe are the Assistant Referees 1 and 2 respectively. Another African referee Charles Benie is the fourth official with Attama Ibrahim Bouremia the Assessor.
A statement from the National Publicity Secretary of the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, Kelechi Mejuobi, said that “Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, wishes them best of luck in today’s game.”
Recall that the trio from Nigeria had on arrival joined others drawn from West African countries to pass medical and physical fitness tests to be qualified to handle matches of the competition.
