The Imo State FA Chairman, Amanze Uchegbulam has heaped praises on one, Akhimien Emmanuel, who served meritoriously at the FA Secretariat during his service year.
Akhimien, an indigene of Edo State, was among the 2021 Batch A, Stream 1 Corps Members that passed out of the scheme on Thursday.
Uchegbulam said that the ex-corps member was dedicated to duty all through his service and wished that there were funds to give him a permanent job at the secretariat.
Uchegbulam said ” He served with all his mind. He did a fantastic job, always committed and always at work. He make sure truancy was not there and always worked with the team.
” He’s a wonderful Corps Member and if we had the opportunity to retain him we would have done that as our staff but FA can’t afford him.”
On his part, Akhimien thanked the FA for allowing him to serve his fatherland without any hitches and made him feel at home.
