The Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) the Nigeria Police Force Community Policing Initiative working with different stakeholders and Multi Agencies,Mobilizing and enhancing their participations as well as galvanizing their support towards problem solving and using community based crime prevention approaches for a safe ,peaceful and secured communities ,is not leaving any stone unturned towards deepening the pocacov campaign messages in the community ,family and school amongst other identified and mapped out spaces.This was disclosed by the National Coordinator Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV)CSP Ebere Amaraizu on monday 6/12/2021 in Port Harcourt Rivers State during the unveiling of one of the identified families as MODELS in the Ongoing Pocacov in My Family Activity for a greater society.Amaraizu who was represented by the Rivers State Chairman of Pocacov Volunteer Club for Safer community and society ,Amb Onwuka Eke commended the new family model Engr.Chief and Lolo Theophilus Chinwike Ezeonodo who also has been a pocacov stakeholder working for an improved society through good family upbringing for the honour and pointing out that POCACOV background check on him and family attracted the chosen of the family as a model in this all important activity.You can recall that the importance of the role of the family in the moral upbringing of a child/Children cannot be overemphasized.Child moulding starts from home becuase the home is the immediate environment of any child and so,we need to get it right .Inculcation of values and morals begins at home and that also account for good parenting which is a serious business.In this all important activity tagged Poacov in my family with a tag “Time to grow up is now ” Pocacov is using the activity to reinvent the role of the family in the moral upbringing of their child.A lot of family will be identified as models and will keep working with pocacov for a greater society.The modules of engagement cutting across parents ,Teachers Association and other relevant stakeholders and multi Agencies have been developed and targetted at the environment to help cut the conveyor belts and supply chains efficiently and effectively.
The National Coordinator Pocacov however charged the newly unveiled pocacov in my family model activity who also is a member of Knight of Saint John international not to relent but to keep the fire of good virtues burning for a greater society.Responding ,Engr Chief Theophilus Chinweike Ezeonodo expressed joy and happiness on the recognition on the family and commended the Nigeria Police Force on Pocacov as a community policing initiative working with different stakeholders in relation to its numerous community driven activities for a general turn around and for a greater society and maintained that Parents have roles to set the family right for a greater community and assured of that the family will never relent towards supporting POCACOV to succed in this ongoing Nationwide activity.One thing is that we have started and it will continue and people must understand that we have to set things right from the family base for a greater society .
