collaborations towards resolving the issue of Substance and drug abuse especially the dreaded substance destroying some of the young minds known as (MKPRUMIRI).According to the National Coordinator POCACOV,CSP Ebere Amaraizu young minds involvement in substance and drug abuse is a dangerous trend capable of spelling doom for the future of the society.The substance known as Mkpurumiri is known to be dangerous and has caused negative health and psychological challenges to some teeming youths that woukd have contributed their quota to the developmental strides of the society.There is no reason to justify substance and drug abuse and that of Mkpurumiri amongst our young minds .There need to be strong stakeholders and multi Agency approach and support to discourage the dreaded and hydra headed monster before the future of our young minds who are leaders of tomorrow are devasted and ruined.We cannot continue this way and that is why the Nigeria police force through the Instrumentality of POCACOV is involved in the ongoing community to community sensitizations using forum base,activity base and committee Relations to

Advocate,Sensitize,Reorient as well as mentoring our young minds on the negative consequences of substance and drug abuse and its influence to hinder one from becoming that champion of his/dream.We also call on Community based groups such as the traditional rulers,town union presidents ,Youth based group,Faith Based organizations ,The media to join in raising the awareness to discourage the activities of those in the production of this noxious substance (MKPURUMIRI) and Others while relevant legislations and moves are equally advocated for to give effect to the process that will help to stop it.The future of any given society lies with the young minds and we have to collaborate with POCACOV in the ongoing Nationwide Campaign and sensitizations to say NO to substance and drug Abuse as well as the noxious Mkpurumiri for a greater society.
