There is palpable fear already brewing up in Owerri, the capital of Imo State as Air Force Helicopter Gunsheep hovers arround the city instilling fears in the residents of State State.
The hovering helicopter came seriously with heavy noise which made many people scampered away for safety of their lives.
Effort made to reach to the PRO of 211 Quick Responds Group Owerri, failed as he refused to pick calls placed on his mobile phone.
Even when contacted the Imo State Police Command Publice Relations Officer, SP Orlando Godson Ikeokwu, he refused to pick his calls nor reply test message sent to him.
This is coming barely two days after attack on the house of the Governor Dist.Sen. Hope Uzodima at his country home Omuma in Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State by unknown gunmen.
However giving the insecurity situation on ground, the entire environment of Owerri, the capital of Imo State is vertually empty.
From Saturday last week when the mayhem took place in the state till now, residents of Owerri, traders including workers have started to apply caution by resorting to stay away from certain places and areas.
All the markets in the city are vertually empty as only few people goes to buy food items for their families, while vehecler movement in and arround Owerri have reduced because people are scared.
The busy and bulbling city of Owerri is no more what it used to be, while some shop owners refused to open their shops for feat of any attack.
