To this end, the people of Eziala Ogwu in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo state have her development fraustrated by a crisis which has bedeviled the community in the last seven years.
When by last December, one of her sons in the Nigerian Air Force was promoted to the rank of Air Vice Mashal, the prayers of the poor inhabitants for peace over the years were heard by God.
This led to the embarking on peace move to bring the waring parties together for the peace and progress of the community.
After a fruitful discussions with leaders of the community which includes HRH, Eze DO Njoku Ekwueme, Second republic Parliamentarian Okenze Desmond Njoku, Nze Ejimudo Nwachukwu Agbada the Special Adviser to the Governor of imo State on Anchor Borrowers/Multilateral cooperations Barrister Ogechi Njoku.
The date was set for the first peace meeting of the community at the country home of General Nwagwu where all the parties aired their minds on the burning issue and after which, it was all agreed that Aladima Ezeala Ogwu should be dissolved and process put in place toward sorting out all legal issues pending the constitution of a new body to run the affairs of the community.
Following this resolutions, the traditional ruler HRH, Eze Damion Njoku (Ekwueme t 11 of Nguru Nwenkwo) dissolved the body and urged the people to live in peace pending the formation of new bodies to run the community
A leader in the community, Chief Ugochukwu Nwachukwu Udaku was full of appreciation for the effort made and thanked God for the promotion of their own to the rank of Air Vice Marshal in the Nigerian Air Force.
He urged him to countinue in his effort to finally bring peace to his people.
