History was made on Sunday 24th day of January,2021 as Radio Commentary of the Nigeria Professional Football League game was brought to the living homes of people of Imo State, with the CEO of Silver Communications Media Mr. Kennedy Onwunali and ace commentator Mr. Amar Ignis who gave some live ball to ball description of the match day six fixture between Heartland Football Club of Owerri,the Nazi Millionaires and Akwa United Football Club of Uyo(The Promise Keepers),on the air wave for the first time in a over 20 years.
This was on the stable of Radio Nigeria Heartland fm Owerri(100.5 FM).
The game which ended 2-1 in favor of Heartland with two second half goals from Samuel Nnoshiri and Pascal Eze to cancel out the first half goal scored for the visitors by America league returnee, Mfon Udoh
The unique live broadcast of the match was powered by the king of Wild life Nze Uzochukwu Elui,CEO of Owerri Fines Food and Wine Franchise- Old English Bar and Grill,located at Ikenegu Owerri .The commentary which has continued to dominate discussions in the state, will be a weekly program that will allow fans who are not allowed entrance into the stadium due to the Covid- 19 rules of the LMC.
