Amaraizu Mmesoma Maryanne, the daughter of Coach Ebere Amaraizu, graduates today from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) as the best graduating student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering for the 2023/2024 academic session.

After five years of rigorous study, along with an additional year delayed by strike actions and the COVID-19 pandemic, Maryanne will be conferred with a first-class degree, achieving an impressive CGPA of 4.73 on a 5.00 scale. Her outstanding academic performance places her at the top of her class, marking a significant milestone in her academic journey.

The win crowned Umuguma Ward as the inaugural champions of the No Vex Unity Cup, a tournament powered by philanthropist and No Vex Group CEO, Hon. Prince Osinachi Amako (fondly known as “No Vex”). As champions, Umuguma lifted the coveted trophy amidst jubilant celebrations and a rapturous crowd.
