Coach Chibueze Ononiwu, the Mbaise-born tactician from Amuohuru Nguru, is rounding off his coaching programme at the National Institute for Sports (NIS), Lagos, while shaping Campos FC into a more formidable and deadly side ahead of the new football season.
Ononiwu has continued to make a name for himself as one of the promising coaches in grassroots football, having guided Campos FC to become Imo State FA Cup champions and OISA Pro League champions, while also finishing second in last season’s NLO 1 playoff.
His growing experience on the touchline, combined with the advanced knowledge acquired at the NIS, has further strengthened his understanding of modern football tactics, team management and player development.
As he rounds off his programme at the nation’s citadel of sports education, the Mbaise-born coach is focused on applying his new knowledge to make Campos FC stronger, more organised and more dangerous in their approach.
For Ononiwu, the journey is only beginning, as the talented Mbaise tactician continues to prepare himself and Campos FC for bigger challenges ahead.
