— President Set to Convene First Board Meeting

Two members of the Board of the Karate Federation of Nigeria (KFN), Dr. Mustapha Sheriff Ramadan, North-East Representative, and Mr. Brian Obinna, South-East Representative, have congratulated Engr. Chukwudi Dimkpa on his emergence as President of the Karate Federation of Nigeria, expressing confidence that his leadership will usher in a new phase of unity, stability and development for the sport.
Speaking with FAKS MEDIA, Dr. Ramadan described Engr. Dimkpa as a committed administrator with a genuine passion for karate and its growth.

Having worked with him, I am confident he possesses the vision and dedication required to move the federation forward. I believe his leadership offers a great opportunity to strengthen and develop karate across Nigeria,” he said.»
Also speaking, Mr. Brian Obinna commended the leadership of the National Sports Commission (NSC) for ensuring that due process prevailed in resolving the leadership of the federation.

The endorsements by the two Board members reflect growing optimism among stakeholders as the Karate Federation of Nigeria begins a new chapter focused on strengthening governance, promoting unity and advancing the development of karate at all levels across the country.
Meanwhile, Engr. Chukwudi Dimkpa is expected to convene his inaugural Board meeting in the coming days. The meeting is expected to deliberate on key governance and administrative matters, set strategic priorities for the federation, and chart a clear roadmap for the continued growth and development of karate in Nigeria.
