All eyes will be on exciting forward Francis Erikan as Heartland FC begin their 2026/2027 Nigeria National League (NNL) campaign against Crown FC on Sunday, November 1, at the Heartland Stadium.
Erikan, who has emerged as one of the players to watch in the Naze Millionaires’ squad, is expected to play a crucial role as Heartland seek a winning start to their league campaign.
The forward’s attacking qualities, pace, movement and eye for goal could prove decisive against a Crown FC side equally determined to make a positive statement in the season opener.
With the Owerri fans expected to turn out in their numbers, Heartland will be counting on home support and the contributions of their key players to secure maximum points.
For Erikan, the encounter presents another opportunity to demonstrate his quality, make a strong impression and become one of the standout performers in the 2026/2027 NNL season.
The stage is set. The NNL journey begins. Heartland FC must deliver!
