Barau Football Club has continued to demonstrate its commitment to humanitarian service by reaching out to its fans and members of the less privileged community in Kano State.
Earlier today, the club’s Head Coach, Eugene Agagbe, on behalf of Barau Football Club, visited persons with disabilities at their gathering point along Aztec Sporting Arena, Kano. During the visit, the coach donated Barau FC jerseys and shared meals with them in a gesture of love, compassion, and solidarity.
Speaking during the visit, Coach Agagbe described the initiative as an extension of the humanitarian and philanthropic vision of the club’s patron, Senator Dr. Barau I. Jibrin, whose passion for giving back to society continues to inspire the club’s activities.
He also noted that the outreach reflects the charitable values consistently demonstrated by the club’s General Manager Dominic Iorfa behind the scenes, as well as the philanthropic leadership of the club’s President, Shawall Barau Jibrin.
Coach Agagbe emphasized that Barau Football Club is more than a football team, it is a club founded on the principles of charity, humanitarian service, and community development. He assured supporters that this marks only the first phase of the club’s outreach programme, revealing that players will join future visits to orphanages, disability centres, and other less privileged communities across Kano State and beyond.
The humanitarian outreach comes as Barau Football Club continues its pre-season training in preparation for the upcoming football season, reaffirming the club’s commitment to making a positive impact both on and off the pitch.
