Golf enthusiasts across the Eastern Zone are set for an exciting four-day competition as the 7th Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria (LGAN) Eastern Zone Championship 2026 holds from September 2 to 5, 2026, at the Arsenal Golf and Country Club, Owerri, Imo State.
The championship, organised by the LGAN Eastern Zone, is expected to attract golfers from across the region as they compete for honours in what promises to be a keenly contested tournament.
The event is being held under the theme, “One Zone! One Spirit! United Swing!”, highlighting the organisers’ commitment to promoting unity, friendship and healthy competition among golfers in the Eastern Zone.
The four-day championship will also have significance for amateur golfers, with the event associated with the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).
Participants are expected to pay an entry fee of ₦25,000, while registration and payment arrangements have been made available by the organisers.
The choice of Arsenal Golf and Country Club, Owerri, as the host venue is expected to provide a challenging and exciting setting for the participating golfers.
With the championship drawing closer, anticipation is building among members of the golfing community, as golfers prepare to converge on Owerri for four days of competitive action and camaraderie.
The organisers have called on interested golfers to complete their registration ahead of the September 2 tee-off.
