The Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association, Gen. Chikelu Iloenyosi, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of his close friend and supporter, Mr. Valentine Eke.
Speaking emotionally, Iloenyosi described the late Eke as “a brother, confidant, and my number one supporter,” adding that his death came as a painful shock.
“I have lost a true friend who stood by me during difficult moments,” the football administrator said, recalling the encouragement and support he received from the deceased over the years.
The Anambra FA chairman noted that the late Valentine Eke played a major role during the struggle to regain his position and throughout the restructuring process of the football association in the state.
Gen. Iloenyosi also extended his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, praying for strength and comfort for everyone affected by the loss.
