The 2026 President’s Cup in Imo State is set to get underway on March 24, with a packed schedule of matches lined up across venues in the state, as teams battle for supremacy in one of the region’s most anticipated grassroots football competitions.
Action begins at the O.I.S.A Stadium on opening day, where Campos B will face Capt Marvel at 1pm, before Kun-Khalifab takes on Evermore in the 3pm fixture.
The competition will then shift to the Township Stadium, Tetlow Road, which will host the bulk of the matches throughout the tournament.
On March 25, Markan will square up against C & C Academy, while Umuakuma tackles Hawks later in the day.
The following day will see Odabro confront Diamond, with Okpotemba clashing against Heartland Feeders in what promises to be a keenly contested encounter.
Matches continue on March 30, with Heartland Comets facing Akudo, while Pakat battles East Coast. On March 31, Akonye goes up against Heartland B, before Campos D meets Ave International.
The fixtures will extend into April, with Giant Brillars taking on Akabo and Stone Soccer facing Jossy United on April 1. The final round of scheduled matches on April 2 will see Ikukoma play O.I.S.A, while Heartland P.E. confronts Egbema Bright Stars.
With matches slated for 1pm and 3pm daily, football enthusiasts are expected to witness thrilling encounters as emerging talents showcase their skills in the competition widely regarded as a platform for discovering future stars in Imo State football.
