The much-anticipated final of the 2025 Dare to Dream Scouting Championship, Owerri Zone, will hold on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Old Stadium, Owerri, with kickoff scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
The zonal final will come on the heels of the semi-final matches billed for Tuesday, November 4, 2025, where Heartland Comets will face Oisa Feeders in the first semi-final at 10:00 a.m., while Heartland Feeders battle Ultimate FC in the second semi-final at 11:30 a.m.
Speaking ahead of the final, Amaechi John, Coordinator of the Imo Centre, said the Owerri Zone has lived up to expectations, producing exciting football and showcasing raw talents that align with the championship’s vision of discovering and nurturing future stars for Nigeria.
Also speaking, Mr. Kennedy Onwunali, Manager of the Strategic Partners, Silvernews Communication, commended the high level of competitiveness displayed by the teams and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to promoting grassroots football development.
“Imo has always been a fertile ground for sporting excellence,” Onwunali said. “We congratulate all the teams for putting up a great show and demonstrating true passion and discipline throughout the tournament.”
