TASIEOBI GLOBAL FOUNDATION TAKES “BACK TO SCHOOL PROJECT” TO ABA — A HOMECOMING OF IMPACT AND HOPE

By Silvernews.

Aba, Abia State — The Tasieobi Global Foundation on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, extended its Back to School Project to the commercial city of Aba, describing the experience as both “a homecoming and a wholesome encounter.”

Led by the Foundation’s Founder, Mr. Elvis N. Tasieobi, the team visited Riverside Primary School, Aba, and Etche Road 1 & 2 Primary Schools, where they interacted with pupils and distributed educational support materials. The outreach formed part of the Foundation’s ongoing nationwide educational intervention aimed at improving learning outcomes and supporting public schools across Nigeria.

Aba-based multimedia expert and good governance advocate, Mr. Okorie Ernest (popularly known as MrShow), served as the Community Engagement Personality for the outreach. His coordination, communication with school authorities, and passion for community development were widely commended for ensuring the success of the Aba programme.

Speaking during the event, Mr. Tasieobi appreciated the warm reception accorded to his team and lauded the atmosphere of peace and progress in Abia State under its current leadership. He noted that such an enabling environment made it possible for the Foundation to expand its educational interventions beyond Akwa Ibom State, reaching more schoolchildren across Nigeria.

“Our engagements in Aba were both homecoming and wholesome,” he said. “The schools we visited aligned perfectly with our vision of nurturing young learners and strengthening public education.”

The outreach, which was also graced by Mr. Kennedy Onwuali, CEO of Silvernews, recorded remarkable participation from teachers and pupils. The Foundation further expressed appreciation to Hon. Alex Ifeanyi Ikwechegh, Member representing Aba North/South Federal Constituency, for the recent renovation of Riverside Primary School.

So far, the Back to School Project 2025 has reached nine schools and impacted over 1,000 pupils through motivational talks and the distribution of educational materials — with more stops planned in the weeks ahead.

The next phase of the project continues on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in Umuahia, with scheduled visits to Olokoro Community School, Olokoro–Umuahia, and Union Primary School, Ibeku–Umuahia, before the team returns to its headquarters in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
