The Tasieobi Global Foundation has concluded the sixth and final phase of its Back To School Project ’25 in Akwa Ibom State with a symbolic event held at Government Primary School, Iquita, Oron Local Government Area, on Monday, October 13, 2025.

The event, which marked the completion of the foundation’s outreach across selected schools in the state, brought together pupils, teachers, and community stakeholders in a celebration of education, inspiration, and social impact.
The foundation’s team, led by its Founder, Sir Elvis Tasieobi, and Co-founder, Mrs. Onyintechi Tasieobi, was warmly received by the Headmistress and staff of the host school, alongside community representatives and education officials.
Guided by Hon. Etieni, a notable indigene and alumnus of the school, the team was introduced to the pupils selected to benefit from the project.
In his opening remarks, Sir Tasieobi engaged the children in songs and interactive moments that filled the school compound with joy. He later introduced Miss Nkese, a representative of JCI Uyo City, one of the foundation’s partners, who spoke to the pupils on the importance of self-belief, good conduct, kindness, and responsible citizenship.
In her presentation, Mrs. Tasieobi emphasised the value of personal hygiene, daily affirmations, and the role of prayer in shaping a child’s confidence and moral foundation. Her message drew applause from both pupils and teachers.
Responding on behalf of the school, Hon. Etieni expressed appreciation to the foundation for what he described as a rare gesture of community service and educational investment.
“It is heartwarming to see organisations like the Tasieobi Global Foundation remembering our schools and contributing meaningfully to the growth of our children,” he said.
Before the team’s departure, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Oron Local Government Area, who commended the foundation’s effort and assured them of his full support for subsequent engagements within the council. The visit ended on a cultural note, with the team treated to local music and delicacies that reflected the hospitality and warmth of the Oron people.
Speaking with journalists after the event, Sir Tasieobi described the Oron outing as a fitting conclusion to a rewarding phase of the foundation’s educational outreach.
“This final visit in Oron LGA is not an ending, but a new beginning for many young minds. We have witnessed firsthand the power of simple acts of kindness to transform lives,” he said.
He further disclosed that preparations are underway to extend the Back To School Project to Abia and Imo States.
The Back To School Project is one of the flagship initiatives of the Tasieobi Global Foundation, designed to promote education, inspire pupils, and strengthen moral values among children in underserved communities.
