Nigerian Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Uche Nwagwu, has paid a one-day official visit to Imo State on a fact-finding mission to assess the ongoing medical outreach benefiting residents. AVM Nwagwu, who attracted the medical mission through the ALDA Foundation, was accompanied by senior officials of the Nigerian Air Force as he inspected two outreach centres in Mbaise and Ikeduru Local Government Areas, where free healthcare services are being provided to communities.

As part of his itinerary, the AVM visited the palaces of Eze Demion Njoku of Nguruwenkwo Autonomous Community and Eze Regina Amadi, engaging the traditional rulers in discussions about the impact of the programme. He expressed his commitment to supporting initiatives that improve the wellbeing of the people.

The visit drew a large, jubilant crowd who welcomed the distinguished guest with songs of praise and gratitude. Many described AVM Nwagwu, the first Air Force officer from the Mbaise nation to attain such a high rank, as a source of pride and inspiration for the state.
