The Chairman Rangers International Football Club Foundation ( RIFC Foundation Enugu) Coach Ebere Amaraizu has hinted that Rangers International Football Club Foundation Enugu’s Mentorship Program ( RIFC Foundation Mentorship programme) is designed to set the right direction for our children and young persons and for a sustainable development.
He made this known to the reporters recently while reacting on the remarkable successes achieved through the Foundation ongoing inspire Me activities.
According to Coach Amaraizu, who is also psychotherapist ,while the inspire me is to arouse their consciousness ,the Mentorship programme which is situated under our RIFC Foundation in the community will have a deep concentration on the feelings ,thinking and behaviours of participants and with a profound data driven processes and evidenced based approaches to get to the root of the problems ,offer solutions ,provide adult guidance that will help to set a Positive direction for our children and young persons by taking them into the processes of principles and practices that will promote Values ,morals , standard and discipline for moral & ethical rebirth.
“The process will make them to further Reinvent and discover themselves and unlocking their potentials as well as becoming innovative and resourceful.
“We are currently working with teams of psychotherapists from our partner Cope and live mental health awareness foundation and Coli mental health Academy and have come up with laudable psychosocial engagement activities tailored to improve the Mentorship programme and in line with the international best practices.
“We have also developed a robust framework for Action with our partner Campus Technology Life Initiative ( CTLI ) on innovations and resourcefulness.
“The essence of the whole program is to mentor these our targeted population and redirect their mindset from negativity to positivity thereby setting a right direction which will serve various purposes such as preventing offending ,Screen addictions, decision making, Anti substance and drug abuse, making them to be self aware to discover who are able to resist negative influences that are counter productive to values, morals, standard and discipline ,be innovative and resourceful and unlocking their potentials for sustainable development.
“The mentorship program will offer problem solving skill on how to transform their challenges, worries, fears, anxieties into strength and use it to elevate themselves.”
