The maiden edition of the IMO YOUTH MARATHON RACE comes alive this weekend.
Tagged RUNNING FOR PEACE.. will be thrilling, exciting and the first of it’s kind in Owerri on the 10/5/25.
The Marathon is organised by the ministry of YOUTH & TALENT HUNT to help the youths out of the streets by engaging them meaningfully.
The commissioner of the ministry Dr Emeka Mandela Ukaegbu stated that the contestants will be rewarded for their passion and also enjoy physical health.
He said the youths can register online to participate and Ensure they get an index number that will make them eligible.
Those that cannot register online can go to the ministry on Thursday 8/5/25 and Friday 9/5/25 between 9 am and 3pm to be captured.
Male and Female winners will collect the same amount of #500,000 each while consolation cash prizes will be from second position to the 20th position.
