The Rangers Intl FC Foundation ( RIFC Foundation) has lauded the efforts and giant strides of Carmelite Prisoners Interest Organization ( CAPIONG) on the establishment of Centre of Hope which is aimed at preventing reoffending from returned citizens.The Chairman Rangers international Football Club Foundation,Coach Ebere Amaraizu made this known recently during the initial engagement of first badge of the returned citizens drawn from amongst some states across the country at the CAPIO Centre of Hope Oji River Enugu state . Amaraizu who also is a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy ( CBT) Coach and a PREVENT SOC policing Trainer & Expert described the involvement and partnership with Cope and live mental health awareness foundation for psychosociàl
engagement,psycho education and counseling as a good measure towards ensuring that candidates achieve holistic wellness which is necessary for self awareness and excellent performance in skill Acquisitions at the centre as well as effective rehabilitation and reintegration for these returned citizens.He commended the management of CAPIO Ng for the laudable initiatives and the strong partnership with Cope and Live Mental health awareness foundation/Coli mental health Academy also official partner to Rangers intl FC Foundation.
The Centre of Hope offers the environments and platform to help candidates of the centre for successful people back to society by providing structured support, supervision and resources to prevent reoffending .The centre amongst other things acts as a bridge between life in incarceration and independent living by also providing crucial support to returned citizens by helping them rebuild their lives and reduce the risk of returning to crime and disorder .The centre provides temporary accomodations,vocational support,therapy and structures which helps in playing key roles to successful reintegration into society .
