All is set for the Eagles Taekwondo Challenge, organized by the Enugu State Taekwondo Association, scheduled to take place at the Indoor Sports Hall of Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, on December 7, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

According to the Chairman of the Enugu Taekwondo Association, Coach Ebere Amaraizu, the event will feature no fewer than 100 taekwondo athletes across various cadres, including cadet, junior, and senior categories. Participants will be guided by Grandmaster Dennis Anih and a team of grandmasters and masters in taekwondo, showcasing poomsae, kicks, and techniques such as breaking planks and other objects.

Coach Amaraizu emphasized that the activities aim to strengthen athletes’ resilience, foster behavior modification, and develop conditioning for a positive and indomitable spirit. These align with the core tenets of taekwondo, which are essential for positive child development and cognitive stability.

The event also highlights taekwondo’s role in building a better society by instilling values, discipline, and character development through sports.
