Imo State Football Association Chairman, Barr. Ifeanyi Dike has congratulated Heartland FC for emerging 2-1 victors over Abia Warriors.
“Good day Gentlemen! Once more may I formally congratulate, the players and the Management of Heartland FC Owerri, for making us proud, and equally proving to us that the Spartans spirit is in all of them.
“For the interest of those, who were not privileged to be at Umuahia Township Stadium, because of one challenge or the other, hear it from me, the Emmanuel Amuneke tutored side, did wonderfully well, in all the departments of the game from the whistle blow, till dull regulations time, no wonder two of the players, have already earned invitation to Chan Eagles, in the person’s of Ikechukwu Mgbemena and Christian Nkwo, I say Congratulations to the team and Imolites once more.
“I appreciate the concerns and the worries of Imolites and our great supporters and Fans, when the results are not coming, your agitation are proper, but I still beg and urge you to keep supporting and praying for the club, surely they will take us to promise land, though the team cannot keep giving excuses, not acceptable, but the team needs time sure, and I urge you to give the team time and support, surely they will bounce back.
“My candid and humble advice to the team, keep working hard, until you get there, do not be afraid of criticism especially objective and positive ones, instead you learn from it.
