CAF Sets Dates For Super Eagles Final AFCON qualifying matches

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that Africa’s Football hovering body, Confederation Of African Football (CAF) has scheduled Nigeria’s final 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers games against Benin Republic and Rwanda for November 14 and 18 2024, reports silversports.com.ng

According to a press release by the NFF, the match day 5 game against the Squirrels of Benin Republic will take place at the Stade Felix Houphet – Boigny on November 14 2028, with kick – off set for 8pm (Nigeria time).

Senegalese referee, Issa Sy has been appointed to officiate the game, alongside assistants Djibril Camara, Nouha Hangouts and Fourth official, El Hadji Amadou Sy Rene Williams from Cote d’ Inoire, will serve as match commissioner and Angolan Inacio Manuel Candido as referee assessor.

The match day six fixture against Rwanda is scheduled to hold on 18th November 2024 , at the God’s will Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, with Kick off at 6pm.

Morrocan referee Samir Guezzoz will oversee the match, assisted by Zakaria Brimsi Abdessamad Abertoune and Fourth official Kech Chad Mustapha, Prosper Harrison Ado from Ghana will serve as the Commissioner and Somalian Ali Mohammed Ahmed will play the role of referee Assesor.

These matches marks the final hurdles for Group D teams vying for spots in the 35th edition of the African Cup of Nations set to be hosted by Morocco.
