Head Coach of Bayelsa United, Ladan Bosso, has hinted that the Prosperity Boys are still work in progress, Silvernews.com.ng reports.
Bosso, a former Nigeria U20 men’s National team handler spoke in Lafia, moments after his team pulled an inspiring draw against the Solid Miners, Nasarawa United, in match day five fixture of the NPFL on Sunday.
It was Bayelsa Utd’s first point on the road in the current campaign and Bosso reckons that it’s a sign that his team is gradually evolving.
He also noted that the gritty contest was an open one that could have gone either way.
“It’s unfortunate for Nasarawa United not to have picked the three points today (Sunday). It was equally unfortunate for us not to have picked the three points here. But God has His own way of doing things”, Bosso said.
“Both teams are work in progress. Both Coach Dogo (Kabir) and I, need a little more time and you see the team go places”.
Bosso was however worried that his team appear not clinical on the home front.
“It’s unacceptable that we don’t seem to be doing well on our home. But at away, we’re much more better and haven’t lost a single game outside. As a human being, it must have to pain me”, Bosso lamented
