Cyril, who plies his trade for NLO side, De Cardinal Sport Club is turning out to become a household name due to his heroics as a goalkeeper.
Born in 2006, with 180CM height and weighs 61KG, Cyril is a selfless goalkeeper with great ball handling techniques, sharp reflexes, quick footwork, excellent community skills and great technical abilities.
He possesses the fitness and strength levels required as a first team goalkeeper. His physicality, agility, speed, anticipation and strong positional awareness has enabled him make brilliant saves and defensive clearances in several competitions.
Cyril’s capacity to serve and distribute the ball accurately with both feet makes him a plus to team build up and play defensively and offensively.
His ability to save one-on-one situation and penalities helped his team to their first ever FA Cup Nationals. Cyril is always a standout performer and terrific ball stopper in competitions and league.
His playing experience spans as follows; 2018: Imo State League champion with 9 clean sheets in 15 matches; 2019/2020: Golden glove winner, Rivers State Challenge Cup; 2021: Three times player of the match award.
In 2022, he earned a call up to the Nigerian national team U17 and in 2023, he emerged the Best goalkeeper in the NLO league with 4 clean sheets, 6 saves in seven matches.
