All is now set for the 2nd edition of Imo State Basketball Holiday Programme for boys and girls from 9-18 years in the State.
According to a letter addressed to schools, Secretary of the association, Obi Nkechi said that the holiday programme for the boys and girls will help the game masters and Mistress to learn the basic fundamental of the game of basketball.
She said that it will enable them to impact the correct knowledge of basketball to the students when they go back to their schools and will be tutored by the state and national team coaches such as; Fubara Humphrey Onyanabo, who is currently on a national assignment with the Under 18 national team.
13th to 17th August, 2024 has been fixed for the programme, which will be held at the Imo State Basketball Court at the Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri from 9am to 1pm daily.
