The leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Imo State Chapter, has dissociated itself from a frivolous publication against the association.
This was contained in a statement signed by the State Secretary, Amb. Ifeyinwa Ibenegbu.
“The attention of the leadership of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Imo State Chapter has been drawn to a frivolous publication tagged: “Notice of statewide ward elective congress of National Youth Council of Nigeria”
“The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Imo State Chapter disassociate itself from such extortive and fraudulent publications. The propagators of this information are racketeers who are in the business of defrauding uninformed Imo youth and the general public at large.
“We therefore urge our teeming Imo youths to be weary of the notice and discountenance same as such does not emanate from the recognized leadership of Imo NYCN.
“We wish to state that the leadership of Imo NYCN is being steered by the capacity driven Chairman in the person of Comr. Barr. Ezinwanne Chimuanya Udoka. The leadership of NYCN is taking strong measures to sanction and bring to book any such person(s) associated with the purported elective congress and any such activities emanating from these impostors.”
