A 95-year-old ardent supporter of Rangers International, Chief C.C Nwachukwu has hailed the team for winning the 2023/2024 NPFL, Silvernews.com.ng reports.
According to Nwachukwu, the team listened to his advice which paved the way for the league triumph.
He urged the Enugu state government to reward the team while calling on the management to ensure that new players are recruited for continental engagements.
“I feel very happy because they have complied to my advice. I congratulate the coach and members of his crew.
“I want them to keep the winning players. They should be retained and scout more good players from other clubs so that they can win in the continent.
“Enugu state government should reward the players and the club heavily so as to encourage them for future work to be done.”
