The Solid Miners got the better of El-Kanemi Warriors with a hard-fought one-nil victory in the opening game of the playoffs.
Sporting Supreme FC also picked the maximum pointsl after beating Sokoto United by a lone goal to be on the same points with Nasarawa United in the Northern Conference.
In the Southern Conference, Beyond Limits got the better of Madiba FC with a 2-1 win while Ikorodu City and Inter Lagos shared the spoils after it ended one apiece.
Matches will continue on Monday as Nasarawa United battle Sokoto United while Sporting Supreme trade tackles with El-Kanemi Warriors.
Elsewhere, Madiba FC will play against Inter Lagos while Beyond Limits take on Ikorodu City.
