Nine-man Matthew Chima Amadi FC of Umuekwune Ngor Okpala yesterday held Imo FA league champions, St Decent FC to a 1-1 in continuation of her preparation for the 2024 Imo State football Association League.
The game which held at La Primary School, Umuonyeali Ihitte saw the best in the two teams with St Decent scoring from a free kick in the first half before the products of Dr Chima Amadi Unity Cup in Ngor Okpala pinned their hosts back.
It took a quick break, good defensive play and combative play in the middle of the park which resulted in the sending off of two of their key men in the middle of the park.
However, Coach Kennedy Onwunali boys kept their cool and ended their first training game in a 1-1 draw to the excitement of the coordinator of St Decent FC, Mr Kampala.
