Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Imo State Chapter, Comr. Barr. Ezinwanne Chimuanya Udoka, has pointed out that the Council has one leadership in the state, which is doing well and supporting the 3R administration.
He stated that he is the only constitutionally recognized Chairman of the Council in Imo State, adding that Humphrey Osuji who he said parades as Chairman of the Council is an impostor having smuggled himself in through dubious means.
Udoka mentioned that his leadership was able to galvanize the youth in the state to towing the right path through viable partnership with relevant bodies on advocacies, seminars and courtesy visits to the Army, Police, Civil Defence, INEC, IBC, among others.
Also, he mentioned that the Council under his leadership campaigned vigorously for Uzodimma and spurred the youth to massively vote for the Governor, a move he said added impetus to the victory of the APC candidate in the 2023 guber election.
The Chairman said the Council is happy that the Governor has reasonably reappointed Sir Cosmos Iwu and Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie as Secretary to Imo State Government and Chief of Staff to the Governor respectively.
The Council observed that the Governor has performed wonderfully particularly in the areas of infrastructure and youth rejuvenation and has done well to appoint capable, viable persons especially Iwu and Anyaehie, who it added had contribute immensely to the development of the state, believing that the appointees will measure effectively to help sustain social and economic advancement of Imo State where peace and security will always reign supremely.
The vibrant youth leader did not mince word as he reassured the Governor of the continued support of Imo youths to the continued success of the government and the good of the state.
