Lobi Stars’ mid-season signing, John Victor, has said his best is yet to come as he enthused that he is eager to contribute his quota to the success of the club.
He also expressed gratitude for the platform he has found in Lobi Stars to develop his talent.
The enterprising player who spoke to Lobi Stars Media shortly after he bagged the Man of the Match Award and a cash donation in Lobi Stars’ hard-earned victory over Katsina United, pointed out that, his coaches, as well as teammates, are the reason he quickly settled down to unleash his potential which he believes would help the club record the desired success.
“I feel great. First, I thank God for the gift of life. Secondly, I thank my coaches and teammates for their encouragement. They encouraged me and thst is what is responsible for my performance today. Although I have not given my best today, with the encouragement and motivation from the coaches, I believe I will do more.
“I am so grateful for this award and I thank God for playing to the instruction which I think worked for me and I am looking forward to more matches and better performances ahead for Lobi Stars to continue to thrive” the utility defender stated.
The brave defender while thanking the sponsor for his benevolence, prayed for more blessings and protection upon him.
Meanwhile, the Personal Assistant to the Nasarawa State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon. Ibrahim Sada Gidado, who presented the Man of the Match Award on behalf of the donor, charged the awardee to continue to work hard for better results ahead and prayed for more blessings upon the former Benue State Speaker, Rt. Hon. Terkimbi Ikyange for donating the award.
