Anambra State governor, Charles Soludo has revealed that former Nigerian tennis star, Tania Okpala is back on the tennis courts after rehabilitation by his government.
Soludo, who broke the news on his X handle, alongside pictures of Tania in the tennis court thanked his wife for her commitment to the course of rehabilitating and reintegrating her into the society.
He said: “Few Months ago the social media was awash with a viral video showing Ms. Tania in a disturbing state on the streets of Awka. I am glad to report that we have successfully restored Tania to winning ways.
“Today she was at a Lawn tennis court in town to do what she knows how to do best. I sincerely appreciate my darling wife, Nonye Soludo, for her total commitment to the course of rehabilitating and reintegrating Tania to the Society. May Anambra continue to Win!”
