Nigeria International, Emmanuel Ariwa said that it is always a big honour to represent the country at the Super Eagles, Wakawaka Sports Extra reports.

Ariwa, who currently plies his trade in Asia noted that the Super Eagles set-up comprises wonderful players, who have the ability to go far at the 2023 AFCON.

His words: “We have wonderful players and they are doing really well but the situation in AFCON this year has been tough. It’s always a big honour for any player to put on that shirt.

“When you are representing your country, you give more than 100%. It’s always a big honour. When such opportunities comes, you give your life.”

The graduate of Political Science revealed that it is not over for him in football adding that he is aiming to recover to be back in action.

“It’s not over for my career. Even though I am playing, I haven’t stopped studying. Even last year, I had a scholarship in football management in Spain. I’m not done with football and I am taking my studies seriously and working towards my recovery.

“I played in Iraq also. I played in their Super League. I picked up an injury in Bangladesh which I undergo last year. I have been undergoing serious injury. I thank God that I am recovery.”
