Sunshine Stars of Akure have sacked Edith Agoye, the chief coach of the club after a run of poor results in the NPFL this season reports, Wakawaka Sports Extra reports.
The club have asked the football tactician to step aside, which indicates that Kennedy Boboye is expected to replace him.
Agoye was sacked following his team’s 1-0 loss away to Kwara United on Saturday.
Sunshine Stars are presently on 12th position in the NPFL table and the team is gradually swimming towards the relegation zone.
