The players and officials of Vandrezzer FC of Uyo Akwa Ibom State has called on the Nigeria National League, NNL, to come to their rescue as they can no longer go through the hardship they are subjected to due to non-payment of the salary owed them by the club owner, Wakawaka Sports Extra reports.

They called on the league organisers to help them recover the money as they have all borrowed huge amounts of money from lenders while promising to pay back when they are paid with interest.

As the commencement of the league draws nearer, it looks like the suffering of the breadwinners of their families are beginning to fade away as the proprietor of the club looks the other way round to their suffering which has affected their preparation for the new league season.

The players and officials are hoping that the issue will get the needed attention from the George Aluo led league body.
