Madugba Nnanyereugo, the Zonal Representative of South East Judo, was on ground to give support to coaches and young Judokas from the region.
He gave 12 pieces of Judogis and 12 pairs of Tatami footwears for athletes and promised to keep these young ones till the get to senior levels.
He went further to seek the support of well-meaning Ndi Igbo to assist in building sport like judo that helps to model youths in inculcating discipline and mental alerts.
According to Nnanyereugo, he looks forward towards hosting an open U18 Judo championship with any South-East Governor that would sponsor the championship adding that Judo is a way of life and that everyone should come together to build it.
