The GOC, 82 Div Nigeria Army, Major Gen HT Dada paid a condolence visit to the State Commander, NDLEA, Imo State Command, Abubakar L Wali CN over the unfortunate slaying of Two officers of the Command on 19th September 2023. He was accompanied by the Brigade Commander, 34 Artillery Brigade, Nigeria Army, Obinze, Brigadier Gen U Lawal. The GOC empathized with the Agency over the unfortunate loss of great comrades and urged NDLEA personnel not to be deterred or despondent. He conveyed the special condolences of the Chief of Army Staff, Maj. Gen T Lagbaja over the incidence and affirmed that the Nigeria Army is with the NDLEA today and always. He prayed for the repose of the soul of the slayed officers. The State Commander thanked the visiting GOC and assured him that his coming from Enugu to Owerri for the condolences was a demonstrable partnership in the fight against Drugs and Insecurity.
