Mbaise All Stars Football Club continued preparation for their game against Marakana All Stars of Port Harcourt with a 1-1 draw with Mbaise Selected.
The friendly game was played this morning at the National Sports Commission Mini Sports Complex Nkwogwu.
After the game, members of the club met with the representative of PDP candidate for the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon Princewill Amuchie.
After holding discussions with them they believed that the Ovoro Aboh Mbaise born-tech expert has good plans to develop sports and carry the ex sports legends along in the development of the local government through sports.
The powerful sports personalities of the past led by ACP Justin Opara with former Nigeria international Cericus Ndukwu, Collins Nwaneri, Alexander Ekerike, Chibuike Nwaneri, Eze Charles Iregbu.
These ex sports men, who brought glory to the country, said they have found one candidate who is ready to develop sports at the grassroots, which will take youths off the street.
